Connie Jackson, the founder, chief executive officer and chief technology officer of CrossLink Composites, is a globally recognized leader in the carbon fiber industry. She has more than 25 years of carbon fiber industry experience in engineering, R&D and management. Before starting CrossLink, she led construction, startup, commissioning and operations of the Carbon Fiber Technology Facility at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Previously she worked for 20 years in engineering, management and executive roles with Teijin Limited, involved with all aspects of carbon fiber manufacturing, intermediate products, pultrusion and composites businesses.
Jim Dolan, president/chief financial officer of CrossLink, is a serial entrepreneur and previously founded five other companies. He is a business development expert with deep domain expertise in M&A and corporate finance. Jim was chair and CEO of a media and business process outsourcing company he founded in 1993 and took public on the NYSE in 2007. Before CrossLink, he was managing partner of a mid-market investment bank. Previously Jim managed a New York-based corporate development team for News Corporation.
The CrossLink team has a total of more than 75 years of deep domain expertise in the polyacrylonitrile, carbon fiber, textile, pultrusion and composites business.
CrossLink's growth capital has been provided by a number of investors including two large strategic entities as well as the prestigious America's Seed Fund, a unit of the National Science Foundation and the U.S. federal government's Small Business Innovation Research Program.
